It’s not always a coincidence when talent comes in pairs. Sometimes it’s in the genes.
It so happens that Manual’s senior photographer and editor Jake Mein has a lil’ brother Oscar. And that lil’ bro is the frontman and rhythm guitarist for Dunedin-based band Soaked Oats.
In the lead up to their Corona Sunsets tour we spent some time with them in the deep south while they filmed their new music video in Naseby and went snowboarding up at Cardrona with local ripper JJ Rayward.
