Design the skatepark of the future, fly to Shanghai

Vans introduces an interactive skate obstacle customisation contest made to inspire people around the world by providing the means for creative self-expression through digital to Vans. With this contest, we are asking the public to get creative and help us to design the skatepark obstacles for the final event. The TOP 8 skate shops from the first phase will be pitted against each other to battle for the title of Asia’s best skate shop.

Download the template here on the 28th of July and submit your obstacle design, if our judges like it we will build it and send you on an all-expenses-paid trip to the Showdown finals (date TBC).

We welcome everyone to participate and show us what they think the skatepark of the future should look like. All the submissions will be screened by our judging panel, including Absar Lebeh, Adelaide Norris, Arim Go, Padin Musa, Yang Liu Qing aka 66, and Yuri Murai. They will select 4 obstacle designs and will have 1 from the public vote. All 5 obstacle designs will be built, showcased, and shredded at the final, and to top it all off each successful winner will win an expenses-paid trip with a friend to the final’s event when the good times come.
