Converse is back again with Polar Skate Co., this time around to produce a skate ready Jack Purcell sneaker. The iconic silhouette of the Jack Purcell remains the same with the added durability and function of the Converse Cons line.

The Converse Cons x Polar Skate Co. Jack Purcell Pro collection features three premium suede sneaker options. Each sneaker in the collection includes a white midsole and the traditional Jack Purcell light blue outsole, along with the signature Jack Purcell smile on the front of the sneaker. Updates to the sneaker include thinner toe caps to lend better board feel, as well as the addition of a traction rubber for improved grip and durability. Additional details include a winged tongue and an OrthoLite ® sockliner with Nike Zoom Air for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Polar Skate Co. founder Pontus Alv leaves his mark with the brand’s signature happy sad faces on the license plates, the Polar fill logo on the heel stripe and the “No Comply” lady on the inside of the tongue.

A compliment to the footwear offering, the latest collaboration between the two brands also introduces an apparel line. Drawing inspiration from the 80’s, the colour pallet and silhouettes are all derived from the Venice Beach skate scene during that era. The collection features cotton jersey tees in both a crewneck style, as well as a long sleeves option.

The Converse Cons x Polar Skate Co. sneaker and apparel collection launched on Saturday July 29, 2017 at www.converse.com.au Converse St Luke’s, and selected skate doors around the country with sneakers for RRP $150 each and apparel starting at RRP $50.
