I was just trolling around on the Black Box site and saw this ad, which is not new or anything, and it just struck me as a cool image. Some ripping hillbilly steez, like he’s laying back in his pickup with his arm out the window, casually sliding this mammoth rail. While Danny Dicola is not every man’s cup of moonshine he does add a refreshing tinge to the sometime colourless world of skateboarding.

Danny Dicola’s part in Slave’s recent release Radio Television. Which is ever so slightly reminiscent of Santa Monica Airlines video Debunker from B.I.T.D. Fast, hard and ballsy skateboarding set to punkish tunes and borrowed vintage TV footage. If anyone has a link to that video please let me know.

Frecks is the owner of a super gnarly 180 no comply to switch crooks. Now, to me that sounds like some back waters gypsy trippy trickery. And it is. His part in the new Slave video is the product of some gnarly, put your body on the line, shredding. The video will be in stores in NZ next week.
