Wednesday November 11… DC and Loaded present the Asia Pacific launch of the DC x Royalefam collection.

The highlight of the night will be the attendance of the man himself – SBTG (Mark Ong). One of the superhero’s of sneaker customisation, SBTG will be joining us to introduce the collection and meet and mingle with us all.

SBTG will also be judging the winner of the DC x Royalefam skateboard art competition. All the entries will be on display, and the winner of the phenomenal DC prize packs and $1000 cash will be announced on the night.

The evening will be hosted by the infamous Renee Renee, direct from California.

Wagamama’s, Tiger and Monster Energy will be providing refreshments, music will be from the Sweet Mix Kids, and we’ve got a ton of giveaways for attendees.

On 11th November 2009 DC Shoes and Loaded are presenting the Asia-Pacific launch of the new DC x Royale Fam collection designed by renowned Singaporean sneaker artist SBTG.

In conjunction with the event and to celebrate the role of collaboration in culture, DC are selecting 20 artists to participate in an art competition.

Selected artists will use a blank skateboard deck as their canvas. The competition winners receive exclusive prizes worth thousands of dollars.

If you’re interested in being selected for the competition email DCxRoyaleFam@loadednz.com by 5pm Wednesday 23rd September 2009.

Applications should contain a bio of less than 200 words and 2-5 low res samples of your previous work. The total size of email attachments should be no more than 3 meg.

Selected artists will be supplied a blank skateboard deck on which to create their artwork. The final works must be completed and submitted by Friday 23rd October 2009.

A more detailed brief will be supplied upon your acceptance to the competition.

PRIZES
1st place: Limited Edition pair of DC Shoes
hand painted by SBTG, $1000 cash and a
massive DC prize pack.

2nd place: 1 years supply of DC Shoes (12 pairs).
