Anyway, I’ve spent quite a lot of time today preparing a few gifs for your viewing pleasure. I had to get Jake Mein to hold my hand through the process of animating these sequences, because I’m apparently too retarded to do it myself. Another very good reason why sequences are so shit.

Let it be said, that I had no fun whatsoever shooting these sequences, but if I can find one consolation, at least I wasn’t shooting film like back in the day. That really sucked.

Next week I’m interviewing Bjorn Johnston about joining KR3W and Supra. Ben ‘Puff’ Morice and Cameron Sparkes are gonna give me a hand, so it should be entertaining!

Jake is sick as. He’s riding flow for Enjoi. When the team was out here earlier this month we rolled around with those guys for a few days.

Chima Ferguson, frontside 50-50. Chifley Plaza.

Chifley Plaza is another one of those iconic Sydney spots. It’s been largely shut down by skate stoppers and awkwardly placed handrails but Chima found a new approach with this frontside 50-50. After we shot this he tried to ride it out a bit further and got broke off. His back foot got caught between the two rails. It was a miracle he didn’t snap his leg.

Karl Truell needs no introduction. Backside 50-50 in deepest, darkest West Sydney. He’s single handedly bringing back the cargo pants. Glory Dayz!
