I just spent a few weeks travelling around Buenos Aires and it’s coastal regions with a crew of kiwi shredders under the guidance of trusty Argentine legend Diego Casal (thanks bro we all owe you big time). When I was leaving for the trip it was a hard choice of what footwear to take. As fellow photographers will know your baggage limits get maxed out before you even start to pack clothes or your New Era collection, so choosing the right threads and footwear to take is something that is carefully considered. Manual‘s good friends at SoleTech here in New Zealand hooked me up a pair of Hsu 2 Sti Fusions to take on the trip. All I have is praise after carrying around 11kgs of camera gear around on my back for the first week as we trekked and skated around urban Buenos Aires checking out the spots and sights of the city.
