We made another trip out to the not-so-secret dam on Friday. In the blazing heat, on the most flatspotted wheels ever, Dom Henry got this backside 180 to fakie manual. He was trying another trick but had to settle for this. (Which is still dope!) BGPs by Beach Thurlow-Meyer.

The third monthly installment from Harbour City Lurkers. This month a few of the Lurkers got blown off course, washing up in Palmerston North for a weekend before making their way back to the windy city. HBL wanna send mad thanks to Kieran Hodges and all the P.N crew for showing us a dope time.

Now I know these aren’t exactly new and you may have already seen them (they’ve probably been on the manual site before), but they are bloody good. John Waddell is the man behind the lens and does a bang up job. There was talk of a full vid…anyway click the link and have a gander over the other vids.

For this event we used Red Bull’s high up connections at Westpac Stadium to secure this lush patch of asphalt in the dusty dungeon that is their carpark. Just kidding, the spot was epic and suited the comp just perfectly. Here’s a few sequences from the night. I definitely missed about a million tricks as it was near impossible to shoot everything. Thanks to everyone who came down and made it a decent session. Word has it that Christchurch and Dunedin should be expecting the Hummer and OTW over the next few months. Watch this space. And beware while watching these gifs as the lights from the generator fluctuate and have created this wonderful flashing effect throughout the sequences. I take no responsibility for an seisures. Oh, and be patient as the sequences may take a minute to load.
