Good As: Quest Kara

Frontside tailslide, Napier.

How old are you? 17

Who helps you out? Crabman, LB, Sanga, Jamie Cook, Morri, Chiza, Ferg, Diamond Brothers, the people at Converse Cons, Azza and the rest of the homies I skate with on the regular – and can’t forget my mum and dad.

Go-to warm-up spot? The new skateable banks that just opened up on Marine Parade are the go-to for sure!

Best thing about skateboarding in Hawkes Bay? With there being only a few street spots, you’re forced to make the most out of it and go out searching for new spots.

What do you spend your days doing? Working in a cardboard packaging factory, stacking that bread, haha. This was supposed to be my last year in high school, but I was over it and had to get out.

Why do you do it? I’m currently saving to go overseas, planning on going to Sydney.

What would you like to be doing if you weren’t doing that? Skating every day.

Who are your heroes? Steve Irwin.

What’s the worst? The stingray. What have you been listening to lately? Kendrick, Future, Bob Marley, 21 Savage, Thugger, Big L, Three 6 Mafia, Migos, and George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” on repeat. What’s next for you? I’ve been working on a new part, so releasing that will be next.
