Traditional stylings from everyone’s favourite producer of slacks – Dickies. Two good reasons to buy a pair: They won’t go out of fashion nor will they make you feel self-conscious while you’re walkin’ about town.
Adopted by skateboarders everywhere Dickies produce the best work pants, chinos and trousers. The 874 original work pant are the Dickies OG work trousers. Poly/cotton blend fabric, high rise, kinda baggy fit, loose hem 5 pocket chino set up. To go all out on Dickies; go for the 874. In recent years Dickies has made us the 873 which is almost identical save for the rise (the dimension from the crotch up to the waist) which is lower. This means the belt line sits lower on your waist and isn’t quite as baggy through the top and upper legs as its bigger brother the 874.
Our third pick in the range, and the most popular Dickies work pant here at Flatspot, the 803 takes all the distinguishing design features of the classic Dickies work trouser and puts them onto a much slimmer cut, tapered fit pant. Other updates include a button at the waist instead of that sometimes pesky clip plus a small amount of stretch added to the fabric. Both these features are also adopted by the 894, a newer ‘updated for skate’ version of the 873.
