In 1974, Converse launched a low-cut suede version of the Chuck Taylor All Star with a simple but impactful style change: a solitary star became the statement on the sneaker’s lateral side. Reissued in the early ’90s, the sneaker soon rose to prominence in alternative culture, embraced by self-reliant innovators of street and skate.

Classic Profile, Built to Skate
The One Star sneaker was embraced by the 90’s alternative culture where street and skate came together. Today, we re-mastered this classic to create the Converse CONS One Star Pro sneaker while continuing to preserve its iconic look. It’s been crafted with highly durable, premium suede. A moulded Lunarlon sockliner delivers lightweight impact cushioning and a superior fit. Lightweight CONS traction rubber provides additional durability and grip.
