As part of the 2012 Billabong City Squared event in Auckland’s Aotea Square, Sony welcomes members of the audience to try their hand at shooting the action and atmosphere of the event for a chance to win a Sony Alpha D-SLT Camera.
Head to the Sony kiosk on site at the event where you will be able to demo the latest Sony Alpha/NEX cameras. Sony Staff will escort you to a special ‘shoot zone’ were you can document the event for a few minutes. Once you’ve captured your view of the Billabong City Squared your shots will be uploaded and entered into the Sony Shootout competition.
The Sony Shootout ‘best photo of the day’ prize will be judged by Billabong NZ, the 2012 City Squared Invitational champion, a Sony representative, the Manual Magazine editorial team and you the public.
A gallery of the top ten photos of the day (as chosen by our panel) will be hosted on Manualmagazine.com where we welcome you to choose your favourite. A final decision on the best photo of the day will be chosen by our panel, reader’s votes will make up 50% of the final vote.
The winner will receive an Alpha D-SLT Camera (valued at approx $1199.95). The winning shot will be published in Manual Magazine’s June, 2011 issue.
