Sony Make A Clip Comp At Billabong City Squared

Up for grabs, the Sony HDRFX1000E Camera.

In conjunction with the Billabong City Squared Skateboard Invitational the Sony Make a Clip Comp will invite three New Zealand skateboard filmers to make a clip of the event with the best clip winning a Sony HDV camera worth NZD$7000.00.

The three finalists have been chosen. Filmers Jono Gemmell, Shane Lin and Stunt Dubs will be battling it out for the $6995 Sony Camera.

Three filmers will be chosen by our panel to film at the 16^th April event. Their resulting clips will be posted on Manualmagazine.com and our readers will be invited to vote and comment. A final decision on the best clip of the Billabong City Squared event will be chosen by our panel. Readers votes will make up 50% of the final vote.

Entries are open now and will close on April 8^th, 2011. To enter submit a clip of your best work, 1-3 minutes in length, to Manual Magazine along with a short biography and your contact details. Entries are open to all. Successful entrants will be notified by 9^th April, 2011 and will need to make their own way to Auckland for the event.

The Billabong City Squared Skateboard Invitational is fuelled by Monster Energy drink with support from Sony, Amazon Boardstore, George 96.6FM and Manual Magazine.

On 16th April, 2011 Auckland will play host to over 30 of New Zealand’s finest skateboarders. Here in Auckland’s central city they will battle it out on a purpose built rail, ledge and stair set-up for their part of a NZD $6325 prize pool.
