WEDNESDAY, WAY TO DO IT

I got my life back today. It’s been about a month now. A month of madness, a month of that all consuming thing that is magazine production. If anyone out there wants to say goodbye to a few solid weeks of their lives I can honest recommend that making a magazine is a good way to make them disappear. The plus side to this is that you get to give birth to (apologies to any women reading this) a nugget of goodness at the end. Anyway, enough of that. This may explain the somewhat slower pace of things in the dot com department. Now, this photo you see above was taken about a month or so ago when the sun actually shone. Those were the days. Since then Fred (pictured), Jake, Tiffany, Rush, Johnny, Caleb and I have been squeezing one out. More on that soon.

So it’s Wednesday, and Fred Shallcrass shows you how to do it.

The ollie (one man’s approach)

1. Go as fast as you can without doing a little wee in your pants
2. Bend your knees, kind of like your about to jump but on a skatie
3. Push your body upwards, this is where you will need some powerful
thrust from your back foot, this is also a lot like jumping
4. Slide yo’ front foot up that shit, try pretending your going to kick
the nose off of your board
5. By now your probably floating effortlessly over all the amazed
onlookers who’s only reason to get out of bed this morning was to see
you rip
6. You’re about to come down so prepare your legs for the impact of your life
7. Absorb your mess and roll away mad clean
8. Go tell your friends about your flawless execution (if you have any)
